Definition of Keratoconjunctivitis
Keratoconjunctivitis: Inflammation of the eye that involves both the cornea and conjunctiva. Keratoconjunctivitis can occur due to abrasion trauma, infection, and underlying diseases such as Sjogren's syndrome and lupus. Last Editorial Review: 3/19/2012
