Definition of Porcelain gallbladderPorcelain gallbladder: Calcification of the wall of the gallbladder. The gallbladder looks on ultrasound, abdominal X-ray and computed tomography (CT) as if it were made of "porcelain." The calcification results from chronic cholecystitis (gallbladder inflammation) usually associated with gallstones.
